    About This Role

    The Workdry Group has experienced significant growth in recent years. We are seeking an experienced Group Procurement Manager to manage strategic sourcing and supplier management for all central functions.

    This role will work closely with the Group Director of Procurement to provide insight and support on best practice, compliance, spend and savings analysis, policy and process improvement, and general governance.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Analyse internal spend to identify opportunities for optimisation
    • Conduct external market analysis to inform sourcing strategies
    • Develop RFx activities with clear risk/reward/ROI assessments
    • Manage stakeholder expectations and contractual requirements
    • Support the development of cross-business policies and process mapping
    • Contribute to group savings targets from central cost centres and capital expenditure
    • Develop a centralised supplier due diligence process and associated risk analysis
    • Simplify the supply chain, reduce supplier numbers, and maximise supplier value
    • Champion sustainability and innovation from the supply chain
    • Represent Workdry values and behaviours
    • Participate in audit reviews and regulatory requirements

    Requirements

    • Demonstrable procurement experience with good breadth of expertise
    • Similar industry experience beneficial but not essential
    • Outstanding communication and collaboration skills
    • Persuasive and influential approach
    • Analytical and strategic mindset
    • End-to-end sourcing and RFx experience
    • Ability and willingness to travel nationally and internationally
    • Experience in global supply chain and international trade regulations beneficial but not essential
    • Educated to degree level highly beneficial but not essential
    • CIPS or equivalent beneficial but not essential
