TPF Recruitment is working on behalf of a great local firm of Chartered Accountants based in Maidstone who are looking for a Semi Senior Accountant to join their team in a general practice position across accounts, tax, bookkeeping and VAT.

Our client isa multi-sited firm of chartered accountants and they have been established in the Kent market for many years.

They're looking for either a part qualified Semi Senior or Somebody who is studying the AAT, ACCA or ACA to join them in a progressive and rewardingcareer.

You will have lots of autonomy and our client will provide study support if required.


You will be responsible for:


  • Preparation of statutory accounts to review stage
  • Assisting with management accounts production
  • Personal taxation, corporate taxation and VAT returns
  • General bookkeeping duties using Sage, Xero or QuickBooks
  • Coaching and mentoring junior staff members and trainees

Requirements:


  • You will have 25 years experience within an accountancy practice
  • You will be AAT / ACA/ ACCA part qualified or AAT qualified.
  • You will have hands on experience of accounts, tax and VAT preparation.

Benefits:

- £25,000 - £32,000 per annum dependent on experience and background, negotiable.
