Senior Draughtsperson

We have a fantastic opportunity to join a leading team specialising in engineering consultancy, project management, and technical secondment services for the energy sector.

With a primary focus on subsea engineering, including decommissioning and energy transition, we have a proven track record of successfully delivering challenging projects within tight budgets and ambitious deadlines.

Purpose:_

The Senior Draughtsperson is responsible for delivering completed drawing packages to the project team after undergoing full check/review/approval cycles. Additionally, they will provide general draughting support to the team and clients.

Responsibilities:_
Supervising Draughtsperson/Trainee Draughtsperson assigned to a project (when required)
Producing a full range of drawings applicable to subsea and decommissioning work
Creating schematic, procedural, and detail manufacturing drawings for project teams following Company, British, or International standards where applicable
Performing draughting checks on drawings produced by others
Developing and maintaining the company's Drawing Office Q.A. procedures
Liaising with customers and/or subcontractors as required by the project
Attending design review/project meetings as necessary
Collaborating closely with engineers to ensure accurate interpretation of engineering requirements
Preparing sketches to support engineering documents/meetings
Competencies:_
Proficient user of Autodesk software, including AutoCAD and Inventor
Competent with Microsoft Office software
Ability to interpret and understand work scopes
Experience:_
Experience in producing different types of drawings such as seabed layouts & approaches, isometrics, schematics, fabrication, sea fastening, deck plans, rigging, storyboards
Experience in preparing detail drawings for design and fabrication, as well as MTO preparation
