Duties: 32.5 HOURS A WEEK - MONDAY TO FRIDAY

  • Supervise and manage classrooms in the absence of the regular teacher
  • Follow lesson plans and ensure that students are engaged in learning activities
  • Provide support and guidance to students, including mentoring and tutoring as needed
  • Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment
  • Manage student behaviour and enforce school policies
  • Collaborate with other staff members to ensure a cohesive educational experience
  • Adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of students with autism or other special needs
  • Encourage creativity and critical thinking through activities such as creative writing exercises

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Education or related field preferred
  • Experience working with students, particularly those with autism or special needs
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to effectively manage a classroom and handle challenging behaviors
  • Knowledge of educational best practices and strategies for supporting diverse learners
  • Passion for education and a desire to make a positive impact on students' lives

£90.00-£110.00 per day

Experience:


  • Teaching: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

  • Enhanced DBS (required)
