Our client is seeking a highly experienced individual to join their team as a Head of Data Management.

Their database, which includes blood samples, heart and brain scans, and genetic data from over 500,000 UK participants, is accessible to approved researchers around the world who are working on health-related research in the public interest.

As the Head of Data Management, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining their data management strategy for the purpose of processing, integrating, and curating health research data.

You will lead a growing geographically distributed team of Data Analysts and Bioinformaticians (2 sites), defining project priorities and timelines, and ensuring appropriate governance and procedures are in place for all aspects of data curation.

You will also be responsible for building and nurturing close working relationships across the teams.

On top of your technical skills, you should be a confident communicator who can deal directly with a diverse range of stakeholders, both within and outside of the organisation.
