Social Media Officer
Concern Worldwide (UK) is looking for a Social Media Officer to join our energetic Communications team in our London.
About the role:
The Social Media Officer will work closely with the Digital Content Manager to drive forward our social media strategy, growing our channels, increasing engagement and creating and publishing timely and effective content.
Working with stakeholders around the organisation, you will proactively find creative and engaging ways of promoting our work with the aim of building our brand awareness, engaging with existing and new audiences and motivating action.
The role will be responsible for managing and building our presence and communities on social media and producing engaging digital content.
About You:
You will have a proven experience track record of developing social media channels such as Facebook, Instagram and Twitter with engaging content.
You have proven experience of creating and managing content plans and using social media account management tools, such as Sprout.
You will have demonstrable experience working in a similar Digital communications role, either with an agency or in-house (ideally with a charity).
To succeed in this role you will possess impeccable copy writing and proof reading skills as well as the ability to create and edit video content for various social media formats.

About our office:
Concern is currently trialling a hybrid model. Staff are expected to come into their base office once per week or the monthly equivalent i.e. 4 times per month. Staff are also able to flex their start and finish times between the hours of 7am to 7pm daily.
Our London office is located 10 minutes' walk from Clapham Junction Station, a riverside office with great views, tranquil surroundings and easy access to local amenities.

Salary:
£33,287 - £36,791. It is company policy to start new employees at the beginning of their pay band.
