The role
You will provide administrative support to our client managers and general administrative support across the business.


In addition to working closely with the client managers, you will also work to support our education consultants, tutor manager and directors.

The role encompasses elements of administration and client services. In addition, you can assist with other parts of the business, depending on your experience and aspirations.

The role will be dynamic and suit someone happy to work in a fast-paced environment who can work independently. You should be keen to use your multitude of skills and initiative across all business areas as required. You should also be confident speaking on the telephone and able to engage people through your outgoing personality. In addition, you should be happy to multi-task and have excellent organisational skills, written communication and attention to detail. You will also need to be proficient with Excel.

The role will be working from home, with periodic office days in Central London (currently monthly).

Although this is a full-time 5-days a week role (preference for 40 hours per week), we are flexible on working hours.

For example, you could fit hours around school hours/holidays to suit a parent with children at school. You can grow with the company as we continue on our growth path.

Bright Heart serves London and parts of Surrey in person and offers online tuition nationwide and internationally.

While this is a working-from-home role, we want to hire someone within easy commuting distance of London, as we work together and meet socially and for training purposes in Central or SW London periodically.


Duties
You must be prepared to handle a variety of tasks based on the company's requirements, including:

  • Handling calls as an initial point of contact
  • Maintaining various Excel databases by importing data from our tuition management information system and capturing certain additional data manually
  • Sending clients credit requests and following up with overdue accounts
  • Updating client balances in our tuition management system for payments via bank transfer
  • Updating client and tutor rates information in our tuition management system
  • Working with the tutor manager to assist with tutor onboarding
  • Working with our education consultants to review lesson reports for accuracy and follow up accordingly
  • Scheduling tutor and client meetings and assisting with general diary management
  • Performing other administrative and ad hoc tasks as required
  • Engaging with social media channels
