- ?_The jobholder will ensure that all tasks are completed in an accurate, consistent, and timely manner to ensure the successful completion of Month End.

Compliance with the Commercial Framework is essential to maintain the high Standards of Governance expected from this position.


The Finance Business Partner will be engaging with the operational teams to ensure budgets are set and monitored throughout the course of the year.


Key Responsibilities?_?_

  • Accurate financial forecasting including P&L, forecasting requirements and the budget/rolling forecast processes
  • Maintenance of an accurate balance sheet in line with generally acceptable accounting policies
  • Monthly balance sheet reconciliation process driving exemplary standard of work and support for all balance sheet items
  • Ensuring reconciliations are uploaded in line with the monthly deadlines.
  • Technically strong in accounting to ensure best practice is upheld across the division
  • Support the Financial Controller in the consolidation of the Key Account results as well as contributing to the development of the reporting files to improve quality and capability in the division
  • Own the Work In Progress and Good Received not Invoices (GRNI) from the Job Management System (Maximo) and the posting of any impairment in line with the Company Policy
  • Payroll processes and centralised payroll related accruals on behalf of the division. Be the key divisional contact for all Divisional wide payroll related items
  • Key Delegate for divisional financial projects
  • To perform any adhoc duties at the discretion of the Financial Controller

Professional and personal competencies/qualifications?_?_

  • Commercial / Financial experience in a commercial services contract environment
  • Strong in technical accounting and balance sheet assurance
  • Evidence of strong understanding of the importance of financial process and control.
  • Professional, committed, conscientious, proactive, and innovative
  • Driven and self motivated, keen to learn, develop and progress
  • Numerate, accurate and confident and can work on own initiative
  • Strong communicator able to communicate with operations, suppliers, and team
  • Positive attitude to change and ability to be flexible to the changing priorities of the role
  • Ability to prioritise workloads appropriately
  • A clear understanding of the need for confidentiality
  • High level of computer literacy including Excel; PowerPoint; Word; Financial Systems
  • Power BI / Power Query / Financial Modelling highly desirable
