Forest Health is a well established NHS GP surgery with approximately 30,000 registered patients. We are located in Bracknell, split across 4 sites all within close proximity. We have a large multidisciplinary clinical team who are supported by our excellent patient services team.

We are currently looking to recruit a Patient Services Advisor to join our versatile team.

The role will require you to provide a competent and professional quality service to our patients liaising between the GPs, other clinical staff and non-clinical staff to support the smooth running of the surgery on a daily basis.

Our Patient Services Team consists of 26 advisors who spend their time between the telephone hub, the reception desk and in the admin office.

They support a team of 30+ clinicians and are an integral part of our practice.

We will consider both full and part time hours, working between 08:00-18:30 from Monday-Friday.

Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
Polite and clear telephone manner
Professional and comfortable taking the initiative when appropriate
Ability to multitask and prioritise effectively
Flexible and able to adjust to differing work patterns and duties when required
Computer literate
Problem solving and analytical skills
Effective time management
Good understanding of confidentiality
