Description
Rapidly growing FinTech requires a Senior Operations and Application Support Analyst to support their customers, banks and corporates. You'll gain exposure to finance systems, processes and data.

This position includes mentoring and team lead responsibilitiesand could become a line management position as the team grows this year.

The job comes with a starting salary £75K p.a.

with generous benefits, including a bonus, unsociable hours payment, flexible working, rising pension contribution, and 25 days holiday (with an option to buy/sell up to 5 days), income protection, medical insuranceetc.


Required skills and experience as Senior Operations and Application Support Analyst

  • A STEM degree (Computer Science, Technology, Engineering or Maths)
  • Advanced troubleshooting skills and experience
  • Advanced SQL/MySQL skills
  • Experience with two or more of the following: Monitoring and scheduling tools, Scripting languages, Cloud technologies, SFTP, Confluence

Primary responsibilities as Senior Operations and Application Support Analyst**- Solve critical issues and act as the final escalation point for clients

  • Configuration changes
  • Using Jira for documenting issues
  • Manage team priorities and oversee the team when required
  • Mentoring, teamwork and learning new technologies

The Senior Operations and Application Support Analyst
works a shift rota covering 6 am to 11 pm as follows:

  • Three days a week regular shifts (9 am> 5.30 pm)
  • One day a week early shift (6 am> 2.30 pm)
  • One day a week late shift (2.30 pm> 11 pm)
