This is a great opportunity for an experienced
Site Supervisor to join a UK leader in Mechanical, Electrical and Digital Engineering, working with some of the world's biggest companies, delivering a wide range of complex engineering projects that keep economies moving.

The purpose of the role is to join the LV Engineering Team to deliver the field service and site supervision requirements for their clients.

The role requires attendance to client sites to survey existing systems and carry out modifications on existing electrical installations.

Duties will involve control panel modifications, PLC system upgrades and wiring migrations, including complete site testing and commissioning of control systems.


Key responsibilities for this Site Supervisor
role:

  • Site supervision ensuring all activities undertaken on site comply with company SHEQ and Safety requirements, processes and procedures in additional to any local site requirements.
  • Responsible for daily supervision of team on site, the control and completion of all site level documentation and quality of working being carried out.
  • Hold daily briefing on site for personnel, contractors and other site personnel.
  • Weekly progress reporting to project PM.
  • Preparation of RAM's, review of contractor RAM's/site level documentation and ensuring compliance to enable safe working on site.
  • Control of all company issued permits for both company employees and subcontractors (where required).
  • Ensure work is organized/planned/monitored to be carried out safely and efficiently.
  • Liaising on day to day basis with clients/other contractors onsite.
  • Ensure all site nonconformities are reported and resolved.
  • Working to defined procedures, carry out installation, modification and testing of control systems equipment and associated communications devices.
  • Ensure equipment supplied by company is installed correctly and in accordance with manufacturers recommendations.
  • Ensure equipment manufactured and configured by the company meets the project requirements, is complete and completely tested and delivers a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure ''best practice'' testing and commissioning processes are adopted.
  • Assume responsibility for safe use and care of company tools and vehicles (Van).
  • Manage equipment and materials supplies required for site work.
  • Travel to sites throughout the U.K. and be prepared to spend some time away from home in overnight accommodation.
  • Completion of task related H&S documentation.
  • Completion of test documentation.
  • Management of stock levels (LV Site work related materials) from within the Grangemouth Office, as per 'Grangemouth LV Stock' document

Experience required for this Site Supervisor
role:

  • Individuals will ideally have previous experience of working on industrial sites and greater than 3 years "hands on" experience in an Engineering environment.
  • Experience in the following areas would be advantageous;
  • Electrical & Instrumentation Installation.
  • Electrical & Electronic Engineering.
  • Control Systems & Instrumentation.
  • Communications Networks.
  • Telemetry Systems.
  • The applicant must possess good I.T. skills and be fully proficient in Microsoft Office 365 (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint) software.
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels within the organisation and with clients.
  • Good organisational skills with previous experience in leading an onsite team.

Package offered for this Site Supervisor
role:

  • Up to £45,000 depending on experience
  • Flexilble working between 7am9am start as long as 7.5 hours is completed per day
