Description
The Apprentice Sports Coach will deliver sports coaching sessions in a range of settings which may include:

  • Primary Schools
  • SEN Schools
  • Nurseries and Pre-Schools
  • Holiday Camps
  • Private Sessions
  • Community Sessions
  • Birthday Parties


You will be contracted to work 30 hours a week Monday - Friday as well as Saturday Mornings within these 30 hours.

As well as your 30 hours, there are frequent opportunities for additional hours each week which will be paid on top of your salary.


The salary for this role will vary depending on your ability to independently lead sessions independently and will be constantly reviewed throughout your apprenticeship to allow you to progress from Junior to Intermediate to Senior Apprentice Sports Coach.

As a uSports coach you will be mentored to reach your full coaching potential and will be able to benefit from our graded pay scale to celebrate your development in your coaching journey.

You will also take part in formal training as part of your apprenticeship programme and will achieve a range of relevant qualifications.

There are then opportunities for permanent positions in the business once you have completed your apprenticeship.

£8,236.80-£13,653.12 per year


Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekend availability

COVID-19 considerations:


Coaches are briefed on our 'Coaching During COVID' policy and are asked to take regular lateral flow tests to protect our coaches and the children we work with.


Experience:

- sports coaching: 1 year (preferred)


Licence/Certification:
- driving licence and access to a car (preferred)

  • Level 1 qualification in any NGB or equivalent (preferred)

Work Location:
On the road
