Description

BNJ Consultants are currently seeking an experienced
rivet bush machine setter/operator to join our small team of engineers in
Exhall, Coventry.

Responsibilities:

Set up and adjust a number of Davenport and Wickman screw turn machines according to drawing specifications
Monitor machine performance, identify and resolve potential problems
Perform routine maintenance on machines
Prepare your section to manufacture in order of old to new jobs in accordance with production plans
Monitor and maintain quality control and provide supporting quality evidence as required
Work to health and safety requirements

Experience and skills:

Previous experience of operating Davenport or Wickman screw turn machinery preferred
Previous experience of working in an engineering manufacturing role
Ability to work from drawings
Ability to measure small dimensional specifications and understand the accuracy required
Ability to work autonomously under own supervision and as part of a team when required

Benefits:

- £14-£16/hr

39 hours per week + breaks.
Flexible working week in terms of start and finish time as well as potential for 4 day working week.
258 hours per year holiday including Bank Holidays
On site parking.
Potential for overtime.
Site is close to good, public transport.

Salary:
£14.00-£16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 39 per week
