Main duties and responsibilities

  • Working alongside the Group Business Manager, ensure all recruitment is aligned with agreed budgets.
  • Preparing engaging adverts and job descriptions to place across various platforms and managing the response;
  • Providing market salary data and insight as and when requested by hiring managers, this activity will focus on the Alternative Legal Service Providers (ALSP) and Paralegal markets;
  • Making offers and advising on the offer management process;
  • Reviewing CVs and creating shortlists for hiring managers;
  • Arranging and hosting agency briefings;
  • Collaborating with Recruitment Administrators in order to ensure that interviews are set up promptly and efficiently;
  • Act as the main POC for all recruitment new starter admin.

  • Provide Group and recruitment project support as appropriate, taking account of capacity, skills and interests.

Qualifications

  • Educated to A-Level level standard to include English and Mathematics.

Relevant Experience

  • Experience of dealing with all levels of staff in a persuasive and credible manner
  • Significant experience of the recruitment and selection process including interviewing, assessment and offers, preferably in an inhouse environment.
  • Previous experience of working in a legal or professional services environment;
  • Understanding of and interest in the legal sector; and
  • Strong client relationship interaction skills

  • Understanding the business environment in which the Group and Firm operates and considering the commercial and wider performance implications of decisions and actions.
