Our clients business has expanded and they are now looking for a Cargo Operations Officer based at Heathrow. The role is Mon-Fri9am-5.30pm, Salary is between £29-40k depending on experience and comes with some great benefits.

Summary of the Role:
Monitoring smooth cargo operations through close coordination with staff and adhering to regulations as outlined by the local authorities

Ensuring strict compliance to IATA regulation for effective movement of inbound and outbound cargo, whilst reducing operation costs

implementing and monitoring standard operating procedures and service level agreements in order to ensure services offered are as per the companies standards

Additional Requirements:
Min of high school qualifications with at least 6 years of job related experience in an airline or freight forwarding environment

Full knowledge of IATA regulations for Cargo Handling, Dangerous Goods, Live animals, Pharmaceuticals and Perishable.

Fluency in English, both spoken and written
