Tudor Employment are recruiting a Warehouse Administrator on behalf of our client, based in Cannock, WS11.

Our client provides customers with new, used, repaired, near-obsolete and obsolete industrial automation products and spares.

This is a full-time, permanent position.

Are you the right person for this role? The desired Warehouse Administrator will:

  • Have knowledge/experience with Warehouse Administration
  • Have experience using Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel
  • Be able to reliably commute to the site location in Cannock, WS1
  • Experience of manufacturing environment desirable
What will I be doing? Duties of the Warehouse Administrator will include:

  • Checking of incoming goods
  • Sign & check all incoming goods against purchase orders ie; part numbers, quantities &
conditions are correct

  • Sign the purchase orders as received and move them correctly to the filing cabinets to ensure
accurate information is kept for jobs outstanding

  • Liaising with suppliers for any discrepancies found on analysis
  • Taking good quality photos of all goods arrived for our records to assist with customer
queries and uploading & labelling images

  • Managing outgoing goods
  • Documenting all outgoing goods, quantities, details such as serial numbers & country of
origins

  • Checking order notes against combined shipments
  • Suitably packing goods to withstand any form of transport to worldwide destinations, take photograph to assist with any possible courier claims
  • Ensuring information on jobs is accurate before producing delivery notes & shipping labels / export documentation
  • Informing customers of tracking details relating to their goods
  • Organising courier & freight collections & companies
  • Familiarisation with courier and customers accounts to generate labels via FedEx, DHL & UPS
  • Liaising with freight companies to obtain quotes for large freight shipments and negotiating best prices
  • Occasionally meeting with freight companies to negotiate on better deals based on requirements
  • Record all tracking numbers on Microsoft excel
  • Monitor shipment journeys and call to assist courier companies
  • Dealing with customs for outgoing goods when necessary
  • Stock Control
  • Basic control required for in and out of stock movements mínimal task
  • Warehouse management
  • Ensuring there is always plentiful amounts of different packing boxes and ordering when low
  • Keeping the warehouse a clean hazard free environment
  • Accurate filing/archiving completed files in external location
What are the hours of work?

This is a full-time vacancy, working in Cannock.

8.30am-5.00pm Monday to Thursday / 8.30am-4.00pm Friday

Hours will adjust to 8.00am-4.30pm Monday-Thursday 8.00am-3.30pm Friday after probation

What is the rate of pay?

£10.94phr
