The Fund Services Associate will be working as part of the Fund Services team, they will deliver exceptional service to
investors, their financial advisers and the clients fund management clients. They will be self-motivated
and able to work on their own initiative in an entrepreneurial environment. This role offers

Client Details


The financial services client based in the City of London is a growing and innovative venture capital firm part of the group now operates under the trading name of 'Kin Fund Services'.

We have grown significantly over the last few years and seek to be theservice provider of choice for alternative asset managers.

We are responsible for looking after nearly 6,000 thousand investors, ranging from small private investors, to global multinationals and the UK Government.

Our goal is to help asset managers betterservice these investors.


Description
The main duties for the Fund Services Associate are as follows:
Application processing

Client money and asset reconciliation

  • Monitor receipt of funds from investors
  • Maintain the client asset register
  • CASS reporting for monthly compliance monitoring and FCA submissions
Investment administration

  • Assist with due diligence on investee companies, including AML checks on directors
  • File investment agreements and supporting documents
  • Facilitate and record deployments made into investee companies
  • Facilitate other client money payments relating to investments, including proceeds from company exits and returning client monies
Investor relations


Profile
The requirements for the Fund Services Associate are as follows:

  • Undergraduate degree preferable but not essential
  • At least two years' experience of an administration role in the fund management industry
  • Good general knowledge of UK investment products, preferably venture capture
  • Strong working knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Basic financial qualifications ideal but not required
  • Demonstrable initiative
