We are on the search for an experienced and ambitious Accountant looking for their next challenge to join a global, market leading commercial insurance business on a 9-month fixed-term contract basis.

You will be working within a fast-paced environment andbe driven to play a key role within the financial reporting team.


Key responsibilities include:

  • Preparation and posting of journal entries
  • Assisting with the payroll ledger
  • Preparing reconciliations and distributing the monthly reconciliation tracker
  • Supporting with audit schedules and liaising with the auditing team
  • Accounting accruals and prepayments
  • Assisting with monthly and yearend close
  • Providing support within the financial team with adhoc duties
The ideal person should hold a bachelor's degree in accounting and/or be working towards a relevant professional qualification (ACCA/ACA for example) and have experience posting monthly payroll files to the ledger and variance analysis as well as being hardworking,driven and a positive team player
