Description

A proactive and enthusiastic individual is required to join the team with responsibility for handling enquiries, assisting with data tasks and supporting the customer focus of the department.


It is essential that you have good IT skills, excellent communication skills, experience of working within an office or customer focused environment and attention to detail.

An understanding of or experience in the Higher Education sector would also be desirable.

  • Assists in the delivery of an effective and flexible enquiry service, contributing to front line information and reception services as appropriate.
  • Responsibility for office supplies to include stationery and incoming / outgoing post.
  • Logging and monitoring office maintenance requirements.
  • Works with a customer focused attitude to ensure that all enquiries are handled in a timely, professional and friendly manner.
  • Interfaces with customers, partners and colleagues across the University, responding in an effective and timely manner to day to day operational enquiries and requests, escalating to Student Recruitment Enquiries Team Leader where necessary, in line with service needs
  • Prioritises designated activities to achieve agreed deadlines
  • Works with team members to achieve joint projects and objectives
  • Ensures all activities undertaken are in compliance with the University's Safety Policy
  • Acts in a way that demonstrates the University's commitment to Equality and Diversity for staff, students and partners

This is a full-time position working 37 hours per week on a permanent basis.
