Skilled site installers
Required to work in a busy, fast paced mechanical engineering and bulk processing company, based in Driffield, East Yorkshire. The company has metal fabrication workshops, a spray shop, a design/project management team, and site installation teams.


The role
Install, replace, service, commission, decommission and removal of various steel structures, conveying systems, ducting, process equipment etc.

Carry out maintenance / servicing works on client's process plant and equipment.

Work overtime as and when required by the company (including weekends).

Training will be provided as required.

Examples of the installation / maintenance and servicing work to be carried out:

  • Installation grain and other bulk solid handling equipment
  • Installation of grain cleaning systems
  • Erection of steel structures and platforms
  • Erection of grain dryers
  • Erection of storage silos and bins
  • Maintenance and servicing
  • Reliable and hard working
  • Team player and ability to work using own initiative.
  • Represent the company well.
  • Work safely to current health and safety regulations and company RAMS.
  • Experience of installation / maintenance work
  • Operate handheld tools.
If trained and experienced (training will be given as required):

  • Work at height


  • Banksman

  • Slinger / Signaller
  • Confined Space Entry (medium risk)
  • Manual Handling
  • Abrasive Wheels
  • Plant Operation (Telescopic Handler, MEWP, Cherry Picker, Forklift Truck)
  • PASMA
  • Welding
  • CSCS / SSSTS / SMSTS
  • Full UK Driving Licence

Work schedule.

  • 812hour shift Monday to Friday
  • Day shift
  • Overtime after 40 hours per week, time, and a half rate Monday
  • Saturday, double rate Sunday
