CNC Operative (Trafford Park)

Full Time, Permanent

M-F, 3 Shift Rotation (Inc nights)


As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for the setting and operation of CNC machines (Programming is not essential but would be seen as an advantage).


You will need:


  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Be able to read a micrometer and a Vernier, these are Measuring tools that our client use to measure the wheels.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work independently
  • Ability to work to a high level of accuracy
  • Programming experience (Advantage)
  • Fanuc (Advantage)
  • Possess the ability to read and understand engineering drawings (Advantage)

Hours & Pay

Training

  • 6am 2pm in Training (this can last a number of weeks / months) at £14.61 per hour
  • Overtime at £20.17 per hour

After training

  • Monday to Friday, 3 Shift Rotation, 6am 2pm / 2pm 10pm / 10pm 6am
- £16.10 per hour, rising to £16.60 after completion of training


Post 12 weeks

  • Pay rate rises to £16.60 per hour
  • Overtime at £20.80 per hour
You
must be able to work rotation and night shifts.
