Job descriptionWe are seeking to appoint an ambitious and enthusiastic Level 3 Teaching Assistant to support and lead our nurture room. This role will also be to support classroom practice and children's progress.

You will be required to;

Have a nurturing approach to promote and reinforce pupil selfesteem through praise and encouragement;
Be sensitive to the welfare and care of the pupils both physically and emotionally;
Work with individuals and groups of pupils to succeed with targets as outlined by the SENCO and class teacher;
Develop pupils selfmanagement and regulation strategies;
Develop communication and social skills;
Provide and support planning of creative, enriching activities and opportunities for pupils;
Set up, plan and maintain a positive learning environment in the Nurture Group Room;
Support positive play at lunchtimes;
Support individual pupils with specific programmes as identified by the SENCO and phase leads.
Be innovative and creative practitioner with a drive and passion to ensure all students achieve
Have enthusiasm for working with a range of students with differing needs and abilities
Have Initiative and a keenness to be involved in all aspects of school life;
A proven track record of teaching classes, good working relationships and professionalism;
Confidence in working independently with groups of students.
