Accounts Assistant to join our growing team in

We are looking for customer focussed people who are natural listeners and demonstrate strong empathetic skills when dealing with our customers and take ownership of their calls to deliver an outstanding customer service and meet our customers' needs through identifying a solution and provision of a suitable replacement hire vehicle.

Responsibilities
- Accurately processing Income on a daily basis, checking the funds received into the bank, recording them on our bespoke database, settling files, and importing into the Accounting package.
- Sending statement on Direct hires and managing/resolving queries in a timely manner.
- Assisting in the processing of high volume of Purchase Invoices 1000+ a month, as part of the accounts team.
- Processing invoices in accordance with various schemes for our Credit Repairs.
- Reconciling a number of credit cards on a monthly basis.
- Processing petty cash from our various branches.
- Bank Reconciliations.
- Taking and making payments over the telephone.
- Frequent contact various garages/suppliers/customers.
- Credit Control and reconciling statements
Requirements:
- Previous Accounts experience or relevant qualification.
- Experience of Sales and Purchase desirable.
- The ability to work well as part of a team and work well without supervision.
- Able to prioritise workload and work to targets ie Month/Year End.
- Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.
- Knowledge of Sage 200 preferable but training will be given.
- Knowledge of Office, Word, Excel required.
