Macildowie Finance are very excited to share with you a fantastic opportunity which is exclusive to us.

A brilliant retail business based in south Leicestershire are looking for a Company Accountant to join their business on a permanent basis.

This SME is looking for an individual who is hands-on, and can work closely and liaise with directors. Somebody who is commercially aware and has analytical competencies is preferred.
The role is offering a salary of between £30,000 - £35,000 per annum. A hybrid working model is also available.
Some of the responsibilities of the role are listed below:

  • Produce Monthly management accounts for Bank (SAGE & Excel)
  • Bank reconciliations and payments
  • Cash flow Daily update & rolling 36 monthly forecast
  • Quarterly VAT returns
  • Payroll process & HMRC submissions weekly. Complete Year End procedure
  • Monthly stock valuation
You must be/have...

  • Either Part or Qualified ACCA or CIMA, QBE also considered
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Confident communication abilities
  • Industry experience ideally retail but not essential
