We are looking to recruit an
experienced bookkeeper to work at our March or Wisbech office.


Stephenson Smart (East Anglia) Ltd are a well-established firm of accountants, based in Norfolk and Cambridgeshire; with offices in King's Lynn, Great Yarmouth, Fakenham, Wisbech, March and Downham Market.

Overview
As a bookkeeper working for Stephenson Smart, your role will involve:

  • Processing client transactions using various bookkeeping software in line with UK GAAP (Xero, Quickbooks and Sage)
  • Utilising data capture software such as DEXT for efficient transaction processing
  • Preparing client VAT Returns
  • Ensuring high standards of service and client satisfaction
  • Working with other accounts team members to ensure joined up service and "one team" approach
  • Being prepared to cover other contracts in the event of holiday or absence
  • Assisting with ad hoc administrative tasks, as required
