Location:
Stokenchurch, Buckinghamshire - Hybrid Working Salary: up to £32,000 DOE Contract: Permanent

We have an exciting opportunity for an Operations Lead Administrator to join our team.

Working in a busy department, you will support the Operations Administration Manager in overseeing all tasks within the department and being a main point of escalations internally and externally.


This is a varied, fast paced role which offers an increased level of responsibility in late Q2/Q3 whilst our Operations Administration Manager will be on Maternity leave.

Key Duties:


  • Ensure you are the point of escalation for team members and external contacts
  • Demonstrate a personal commitment to DEKRA UKs Environmental & Quality Management Systems
  • Support the Operations Administration Manager and Operations Directors with administrative tasks
  • Handle the Operations Administration Managers tasks when they are absent including people management
  • Ensure Inspector resource is being deployed correctly
  • Professionally and effectively provide training and support to new starters
  • Show initiative to understand the business needs
  • Manage and be responsible for specific agents within the team
  • Answer all queries and cover all tasks across the team when necessary
  • Ensure all shared inboxes are managed and within SLA
  • Responsible for managing the telephony system, ensuring sufficient cover at all times

Essential Requirements:


  • Ability to demonstrate great working relationships
  • Experience of managing / supervising a team
  • Able to motivate and support others
  • Experience of scheduling and holding team meetings
  • Maintaining good communication
  • Experience of managing difficult customers
  • Automotive experience would be a preference but not a requirement
  • Deployment experience
