TPF Recruitment are supporting a well-established chartered accountancy practice in Ashford who is seeking to recruit a Personal Tax Senior in to their successful tax team.

This is a part-time opportunity to work - 4 days a week.

This is an excellent opportunity to work as part of a highly successful tax team.

You will have a Personal Tax bias, however the position will offer the opportunity to work in a mixed tax capacity too, if of interest.

You will be responsible for supporting a range of clients, comprising of small and medium businesses to international groups and high net worth individuals.

You will be given the chance to become involved in interesting and challenging advisory, planning and research projects.

  • A mixture of personal tax compliance and advisory services, including;
  • Personal tax returns, partnership tax returns, trust tax returns, ERS returns, ATED, P11D/PSA returns
  • Dealing with HMRC enquiries/disclosures, liaising directly with clients and HMRC
  • Handling any queries
  • Tax planning, IHT and advisory work
  • Responsible for an interesting client portfolio.

Requirements:


  • You will have a minimum of 2 years experience working within and accountancy practice but preferably between 25+ years experience.
  • You will have had experience within an accountancy practice environment, preparing tax returns.
  • AAT, ATT, CTA, ACA, ACCA qualified, or qualified by experience.

Benefits:

- £30,000 - £40,000 FTE dependent on experience and background, negotiable.

The Personal Tax Senior will be: ACA/ACA/ CTA or ATT Qualified, or part qualified with 3+ years' experience working within tax.

Strong written communication skills to write reports when required Excellent time management skills to ensure all deadlines are met Organised and efficient
