How you can help us

The Role

• Reporting directly to the Head Draughting Engineer.
• Responsibility for CAD drawings across multiple projects. Including full technical drawings for customer sign off and for workshops to manufacture from.
• Working collaboratively with the Design Team to take the initial design concepts and make them into full technical drawings.
• Managing the balance of design with manufacture: honouring the initial design concepts, combined with the practical nature of making drawings that can be efficiently manufactured, without any unnecessary difficulty or cost.
• Communicating with workshops and customers directly to establish drawing requirements, discuss amendments, and reach drawing sign off.
• Autonomy of role in that you'll take full ownership of your work and responsibility for the details

Required Skills and Knowledge:

• Using AutoCAD for the technical drawings
• Using Rhino for modelling
• Knowledge of bespoke furniture manufacturing
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Quality in your work produced and a passion for excellent customer service
• Trust and honest in all dealings, going above and beyond for customers
• Fun and friendly attitude to fit into our team and create lasting relationships

Key details:

• Salary between £23k£40k dependant on experience
• This Permanent position is available immediately

• Full time

• Monday to Friday 9am5:30pm
• Hybrid working between your home and our Lancaster office
• 25 days holiday plus bank holidays
