Responsibilities

  • Provide 1st level of technical support in line with the ICT services to students and staff.
  • Utilise the Support Desk System provided to manage all support tickets and tasks
  • Respond to all tickets within SLA
  • Support students and staff on the appropriate use of ICT.
  • Ensure tickets are logged in the Helpdesk and are up to date as well as maintain the client records
  • Maintain awareness of student's and staff's tickets and communicate with them regarding clients' tickets and information
  • Ensure monitoring alerts are investigated and where required logged on the Helpdesk
  • Communicate and collaborate with the line Management in resolving issues.
  • Assist with the installation and maintenance of the school's ICT resources.
  • Ensures that all support requests are accurately and helpfully recorded in the Help Desk system and are promptly allocated to a member of the ICT Services Department for action.
  • Regularly carry out and log routine maintenance tasks delegated by the ICT Infrastructure Manager or ICT Services Manager.

Skills and Experience

  • Ideally 12 months + prior experience working in Service Desk or Technical Support
  • General Hardware, Software, and Connectivity troubleshooting
  • Knowledge of experience in ICT Helpdesk Support services
  • Experience working with Microsoft Windows Operating Systems (Windows 10)
  • Experience administering the Office365 suite (Office, Teams, OneNote, SharePoint)
  • Experience working with network services such as Active Directory, Group Policy, Routing, etc.
  • Build and Configuration of PCs, Laptops, Tablets, and Mobile Devices (Microsoft Surface experience desirable)
  • Excellent customer service, and communication skills, both written and verbal

Salary:
£20,000 - £22,000 per annum

Full-Time, Permanent
