Description
Modern Edge recruitment are recruiting for experienced call handlers, on behalf of our client whom are expanding their team.

Our client offers nationwide vehicle assistance, with a fleet consisting of recovery and specialist vehicles and commercial service vans, with a customer base ranging from small family run businesses to prestige and multinational organisations.


Shifts available:
Day shift, Night shift, Part time. Overtime available upon request


Location:
Dudley


Rate of pay:
Up to £12 an hour DOE


Daily duties include:

  • Handling inbound and outbound calls, acting as a first point of contact for customers, dealing with their requests and queries in a timely manner
  • Continuously managing customers' expectations throughout the breakdown from initial call to completion
  • Actively promoting services to customers
  • Communicating professionally and effectively with customers, subcontractors, and our members of staff
  • Operating inhouse computer systems
  • Organise and plan attendance of technicians, recovery drivers and subcontractors to conduct repairs/recoveries within agreed time frames
  • Ensuring all completed breakdowns are noted and recorded correctly for the purpose of invoicing and compliance
  • Excellent customer service skills in a highly pressurised working environment
  • Have experience of high volume call handling
  • Have experience managing customer expectations and planning workloads for recovery drivers and technicians
  • Worked in a fastpaced environment
  • Knowledge of commercial vehicle industry or transferable skills
