Deceuninck are a Window Systems Company based in Calne, Wiltshire; where we extrude and laminate 6-meter lengths of uPVC profiles and laminate profiles for windows and door frames.


We are looking to hire an additional Production Planner to support our growing team, you will be responsible for the production planning of at least one specific department and provide support and cover to the existing production planner in their area.


Job Summary:


You will be responsible for the planning activities of the department to ensure stock levels & customer demands are met in a timely and cost-effective manner.

Supporting the development of reports to analyse KPI's relating to your area and other related topics as required.

You will work closely with the production teams to ensure all data is accurately selected/entered on the shop floor systems.


You will receive our new starter induction with Health & Safety and HR, you will receive a department induction and training on your tasks and responsibilities.

Training will be provide at both our Calne site and our head office site in Belgium.


Key duties include:


  • Develop the production schedule detailing all tasks & the timeframe for their completion. Providing this to the Production Team in a regular and welltimed manner to allow them to execute efficiently
  • Plan and prioritise operations to ensure maximum performance and minimum delay
  • Advise Production Manager on manpower requirements & equipment needed to cover demands
  • Monitor production to ensure deadlines are achieved and plan adjusted as required
  • Work closely with Production Supervisors/Technical Trainer to ensure team has knowledge required to use shop floor system correctly for daily activities
  • Monitor & correct any erroneous material consumptions generated by human and system errors
  • Plan & coordinate available downtime for preventative maintenance on all lines, maintaining a detailed electronic schedule/record of activities
  • Collect & assess data about the production and team's performance & report
  • Daily reconciliation of production output & scrap produced v daily targets
  • Ideally experienced in SAP, but full training will be provided
  • Experienced in production planning
  • A natural planner, able to set out clear plans, prioritise and adapt plans as necessary
  • Able to gather, understand, analyse & interpret information & concepts
  • Strong Computer skills, including Advanced MS Excel, to maintain accurate records and generate reports
  • Reliable and responsible, with a positive attitude, a real team player who's supportive of others
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with good level of English both written and verbal
  • Keen to develop their skills and knowledge
  • Excellent attention to detail, working to a consistent high standard of work

Working Hours:

39 hours per week. Worked Monday to Thursday , Friday with half an hour unpaid break.
