As Tender and Sales Administrator you will be responsible for providing support to the sales team by assisting with the preparation and submission of quotes, tender and bid proposals.

The role will involve working closely with the sales team to understand the customer's needs and requirements and then developing and submitting proposals that meet those needs.

This is a critical role that requires a high level of attention to detail, excellentcommunication skills, and the ability to work well under pressure.

Time management is a crucial skill, meeting bid deadlines and following up with internal submissions.

In addition, maintaining a thorough knowledge of the company's products, services, andpolicies to effectively communicate with customers and answer any questions they may have.

MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist the sales team with the preparation and submission of quotes
  • Assist the sales team with the preparation and submission of tender and bid proposals
  • Research and gather information on customer's needs and requirements
  • Develop and create proposal documents that meet the customer's needs
  • Ensure all proposals are submitted on time and meet the required standards
  • Manage and update tender portals
  • Communicate with the legal, contract, commercial and technical team etc. to ensure a smooth and efficient process and reporting back to the Sales Team with progress updates.
  • Maintain accurate records and update proposal status in the company's CRM system
  • Manage and maintain centralised resources such as technical specifications and product information
  • Keeping data up to date for specific information
  • Answer questions about products or the company
  • Be responsible for any other administrative duties that arise within the team
