Multinational company owning an extensive portfolio of molecular diagnostic solutions searching for a (Senior) Clinical Account Manager to support existing accounts and negotiate new contracts.

Strong understanding of molecular biology required (ParticularlyqPCR + DNA/RNA Extraction Techniques).

Description
As a successful Clinical Account Manager covering London and East Anglia you will:

  • Grow existing accounts and identify new customers within London and East Anglia to achieve target budget.
  • Recognise customer requirements and bring these in line with the clients extensive portfolio of instruments and products.
  • Support clinical customers throughout the entire product lifecycle by offering training, customer demonstrations, and additional support as and when required.
  • Develop lasting relationships by providing the best possible support and service.
  • Plan effectively by reporting and forecasting to the sales manager, and through the customer relationship management system (CRM).
  • Work collaboratively with laboratory and procurement teams to close sales.
  • Travel 6080% of the time.

Profile
To be a successful Clinical Account Manager you will have/be:

  • Bsc or PhD in molecular biology or equivalent with a solid comprehension of molecular biology techniques (qPCR and DNA/RNA Extraction)
  • A full UK drivers licence
  • Collaborative and team focused
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Based in the London or East Anglia region, with the ability to travel regularly
  • Previous sales experience (particularly selling to the NHS) is desirable
