Document & Data Co-ordinator (North America)

This role will give you the chance to play a key role on ground-breaking and high-profile defence projects with values in the hundreds of millions.

You'll be part of an industry-leading team, working with Marshall and other major defence stakeholders and Primes.


The North American (NA) Document & data co-ordinator is responsible for controlling all documentation and data (internal and external) for the NA programme.

This is especially important as it encompasses design, build and mobilisation documentation which is all critical path to a strategically important mobilisation of two sites in NA (Canada and US).


The role also includes responsibilities for general co-ordination of reporting and administration needed by Senior members of the programme team and the USMC MRO Manager to support reporting purposes.

Common thread is the NA customer base.- Define and manage NA programme document and data management, including structure of Microsoft teams site to allow all programme users appropriate controlled access as easily as possible.- Reporting and co-ordination support to USMC MRO Manager.- Programme administration for NA programme team e.g.

expenses, travel booking, team meeting planning, programme team reporting governance.- Supporting communications and communication planning internally on NA programme status.

Technical Competencies:

  • Excellent IT skills and computer systems.
  • Previous understanding and experience of document and data management principles and systems.

Experience:


  • Working with sensitive documentation and understanding of why a controlled environment is required.
  • Working on IT systems as well as basic office software.
  • Experience of working in a startup environment where there is a broader scope of responsibilities initially and be comfortable with this, helping shape a more structured environment, as the programme evolves.

Additional local needs:


Flexible individual with ability to work variety of working hours if needed as many meetings will need to be scheduled around US / Canada time zones.

Later start times will of course be agreed to accommodate for this flexible working so it is sustainable and not a drain.
