Vehicle Damage Assessor

Location:
Chelmsford CM1 1PD

Salary:
Up to £40,000 (depending on experience and qualifications) + bonus + other excellent benefits listed below

Full-time and Permanent 40-45hrs per week - Monday to Friday

About the Job:


  • Our Client is looking for an experienced Vehicle Damage Assessor to join our accomplished team following their expansion and BS Accreditation.
  • They are looking for a hardworking individual who can work as part of a team, is computer literate to document their work and can also work alone.
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience is welcomed but not 100% necessary.
  • As an experienced VDA Estimator, the purpose of your role is to assess a wide
- range of vehicles, using Audatex and calculate costings and the time required to
- complete all necessary repairs accurately and professionally.

You must be able to:


  • Plan your workload effectively to ensure vehicles are ready for agreed timescales
  • Work skillfully and safely under pressure
  • Carry out work by manufacturers' specification
  • Work as part of a team as well as on your initiative with mínimal supervision
  • Be flexible in your approach
  • Continually work to high standards with customer satisfaction in mind.
  • You will ensure that all tasks carried out follow our Health and Safety
- guidelines; for example, wearing all provided Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and keeping all work areas clean and tidy.
