An exiting opportunity has arisen to join a Team nurses, Occupational Therapists and support workers in the Lochaber Community Mental Health Team.


The Drug and Alcohol Recovery Service provides support to anyone with a drug and/or alcohol issue or to others looking for advice in supporting a family member/friend, the service also provides specialist Harm Reduction advice and injecting equipment to this client group.

The service allows access to a client group who would otherwise be extremely difficult to access, providing an opportunity to address health issues as well as drug/alcohol and harm reduction issues.


In this post the practitioner will assist the service to engage with the client group, provide support for clients to access services and offer 1:1 guided support appointment to support people through their recovery journey.


This post will be based in the community Team of Health care professionals to deliver the service.
