Context and challenges of the position


In the palatability team of our UK entity, your job is to watch over the product and raw material safety as far as is reasonably expected within the scope of this job.

You will be responsible for market access to ensure that our products can get the proper marketing authorizations in the targeted countries, at the moment the business needs it.

This expertise covers all the registration steps from BU request to market introduction and guaranties the compliance with Adisseo and local policies.

Another part of this job is to report KPI's an analyze complaints.


Missions of the job


As a member of the technical/market access team for palatability products, it is your mission to maintain and distribute the ASL (Palatability), ensuring all raw materials and suppliers meet the necessary requirements.

You will monitor all incidents and complaints related to palatability/APEX and keep up with proper documentation for it. You are the QA link between Adisseo and contract manufacturers for Palatability. You will maintain accredited systems (FEMAS/UFAS/NOPS).


The QA Officer should participate to provide the necessary support to the various stake holders to enable quality products to be manufactured that meets all the requirements of the currently held accreditations.


Tasks

  • Maintaining the current accredited systems including raw material risk analysis ensuring HACCP studies are completed and review annually
  • Responsible for maintaining and issuing the ASL ensuring all raw materials and suppliers are suitable approved
  • Responsible for the issue and follow up of supplier questionnaires ensuring they are completed accurately and returned in a timely manner
  • Creation of internal purchasing specifications for all raw material
  • Support the authoring of SDS (Pal, HBN, Apex) and maintenance of the Haz assessment system
  • Support the creation and set up of product labels
  • Completion and return of customer questionnaires
  • Responsible for the monitoring and filing of analysis carried out by outside test facilities
  • Management of the incidents and complaints system ensuring accurate documentation/root cause analysis and follow up
  • Reporting monthly on incidents and complaints and take corrective action
  • Cooperate with other internal departments and answer the needs of (internal) stakeholders and business partners in terms of functionality and QA support
  • Support the quality coordinator and registrations manager
  • Implement and ensure good filing practices on the server and where applicable in the Adisseo portal
  • Respect good practices in line with the operational objectives of the business
  • Act with integrity in line with company code of conduct

Requirements for the job
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS

  • HACCP trained holding a recognized qualification
  • Knowledge and or experience of QA systems preferably in the feed industry
  • Knowledge and or experience of the authoring of SDS
  • Knowledge of the Aroma Chemical industry
  • Language knowledge English: fluent speaking & writing, any additional language is an advantage
  • Practical knowledge of MS Office programs
  • Practical knowledge of ERP is a plus (e.g., SAP / Exact)
  • Excellent communication skills oral and written and the ability to interact with other members of the Market Access team and various production sites
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Work in matrix organization and network
  • Ability to work independently and be results driven
