Management Support Officer:


Are you looking for a challenging role that enables you to work across a diverse range of activities and with a variety of people? Do you have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with a wide range of people? Are you looking to be part of a vibrant and effective administrative support service?:

As a member of the School of Design Management and Administration Support Service (MASS), you will provide efficient and effective support to the School Manager in ensuring the effective management of administrative processes across the School.

Working closely with other MASS team members and School, Faculty, University Services and external colleagues, you will help the School Manager in ensuring that operational internal processes relating to human resources, financial management, estates, and IT are carried out smoothly and effectively.


With experience of working in an administrative role in a large complex organisation, you will have excellent communication skills and the ability to identify and suggest improvements to the service provided.

Working independently as needed, you will be well organised, with excellent attention to detail and a flexible approach to work.

You will work collaboratively with other colleagues across the University and beyond to
share good practice and encourage knowledge exchange between colleagues to facilitate continuous improvement.
