Overview:

Energy resourcing are currently recruiting for a Senior Buyer to join their project delivery team on a contract basis to be based in Aberdeen working on their clients energy contract.

The Senior Buyer will be Procuring a wide range of packages in support of E&C and larger project work scopes.

Responsibilities:

Acting as Senior Buyer or technical expert to complete the most complex project purchasing involving both engineered and nonengineered items.
Assist in leading project Procurement strategy development and implementation for corporate and project scope and identifies and advise on supply and risk to provide the relevant services to its clients.
Plans and conducts and may supervise work of self and others.
Participate in cross functional collaboration.
Works with selfinitiated interaction with supervisor and selfinitiated technical guidance.
Broad duties assigned at beginning of projects.
Work is assigned in terms of objectives, relative priorities and critical areas that impinge on work of other units.
Work is reviewed to ensure policy conformity and soundness approach.
Will typically assign activities and regularly give jobrelated guidance to team members as a senior advisor.
Strong ability to inform and persuade on complex matters through preparation and delivery of proposals, presentations and reports, as well as collaboration with stakeholders and management.
Strong understanding of systems, process and tools related to field.
Able to assist others and troubleshoot issues.

Qualifications:

Senior level position with advanced knowledge and a specialized depth or breadth of expertise, gaining a mastery of a single areas or multiple broader areas of specialization.
University Degree, or equivalent, in related field or applicable discipline, or equivalent relevant experience.

Experience
