Our client is a global centre for nuclear engineering management. They have pioneered the harnessing of nuclear power to generate electricity for the country. They are currently seeking a document controller to join their multi-functional team on a 1-yearfixed-term contract.


Your will:


  • Register documents into an appropriate document management system without supervision, understanding the links between the process and the approver
  • Link documents according to their context.
  • Undertake quality compliance checks to ensure documents are produced and maintained in accordance with project requirements
  • Carry out search and retrieval requests, collate and analyse information, and produce reports.
  • Organise their workload with limited reference upwards for direction and the setting of priorities, anticipate and deal with issues according to procedures.
  • Contributes to the improvement of managing the projects information and working practices
  • Maintain contact with other team members in the Project Team anticipating their requirements and building that into the service provision.
  • Assists in the development of the project record and handover schedules and the project distribution matrix in accordance with the QA Plan.
  • Monitor their progress and performance on the project, contributing to cost control.
  • Comply with processes and procedures, ensuring that these follow statutory, regulatory and company policy; contribute to specific procedures to solve local problems and consult more widely for their universal adoption.

Essential skills, experience, and qualifications you need:
(What you need to bring to the table)

  • Minimum of 2 years of administration/document control
  • Sound Knowledge of Document Control and the Records Management Process.
  • Be able to take instruction and communicate well
  • Undertake Training on our clients' Document Management system (DaISY)
  • Minimum of 5 GSCEs
  • Working Knowledge of Office Products
  • Preferable Document Control Qualification
