You will be responsible for driving LGV vehicles to and from the aircraft collecting loads and offloads of cargo, mail, and courier.

Full compliance with Company Security and H&S policies is mandatory.


Salary package Total £31,110.39 p/a : (Breakdown; Basic £25,986.56, shift allowance £2,238.41, attendance allowance £2,071.02, HGV allowance £814.41)

Shift work, days & nights

  • To collect and deliver cargo to and from airside warehouses and mail sheds.
  • Load and offload freight either manually or mechanically in accordance with respective handling procedures.
  • You must ensure safety is never compromised.
  • You must adhere to HAL and Menzies Aviation policies and processes.
  • Ensure that items of Company or Customer property and equipment are properly maintained and protected. Immediately report any damage, fault, or irregularity to your line manager.
  • Fully comply with the Company Health & Safety policy.
  • Fully comply with the Company Security Regulations.
  • Fully comply with Company handling procedures.
  • Implement and adhere to policies and procedures as directed in the Company Handbook.
  • Participate in team objectives.
  • Undertake other reasonable duties, as and when deemed necessary by your manager.

  • Carry out work in accordance with information and training provided and any specific workplace health and safety rules or procedures.
  • Fully understand the company health and safety policy.
  • Attend training courses as may be arranged by the Company.
  • Engage with MORSE and follow our code principles.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Must have AVSEC Security Level CO (old Level D) certification or higher.
  • You must have an Airside Driving licence
  • You must have a LGV Driving licence
  • You must be a good team player
  • You must be able to work under pressure
  • You must have good numeracy and communication skills
