    Advanced Physiotherapist Practitioner – Pain

    The Royal Berkshire NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an experienced Advanced Clinical Practitioner to join its Pain management team. The successful candidate will provide highly specialised Physiotherapy or Occupational Therapy assessment and management to a complex clinical caseload.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Provide clinical leadership to allied health professionals at the Royal Berkshire Hospital and external partners.
    • Undertake an Advanced Clinical Practitioner role within the Pain management department at the Royal Berkshire NHS Foundation Trust.
    • Interpret and analyse clinical and non-clinical data to form accurate diagnoses and prognoses informing complex decision making.
    • Work as a senior decision maker in a clinic setting, seeing new and follow up patients, and forming diagnoses and making decisions on management.

    About the Team:

    The Pain management service provides a comprehensive service facilitating a decrease in prevalence across the continuum of pain, from acute to chronic. We work across the life span from paediatric and geriatric populations, to end of life, reducing the burden of pain for individuals, families, and our local society as a whole.

    Requirements:

    • Mid-Senior level experience as a Physiotherapist or Occupational Therapist.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
