Management Accountant


Based in Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire our client is an exciting and expanding company looking for a Management Accountant to join their team on a permanent basis.


This job would suit a dynamic problem solver who is part qualified, or qualified by experience accountant, to provide expert support to all areas of the business in all aspects of financial decision making.


This company is a market leader, who has won various accreditations for their work and have gone through substantial growth as a business and are still continuing to excel in their market.

The successful individual will be ACA/ACCA/CIMA part qualified or qualified by experience.

They will be analytical with good attention to detail and be able to communicate across all levels of the business.

For this role you will need to be organised andmeet deadlines. Advanced Excel skills are also essential.


Job responsibilities:

  • Ensure group monthly management accounts are prepared in accordance with deadlines
  • Prepare annual accounts and reconciliations for external auditors
  • Ownership of balance sheet reconciliations for all the companies within the group and fully understanding the financial position.
  • Responsibility for reviewing, understanding and reporting on any variances to forecast
  • Preparation of financial reports and models to assist in the evaluation of business initiatives, sales opportunities, investments and new projects.
  • Liaising with senior management/cost centre managers, with the distribution of monthly forecast reporting pack with commentary to senior management.
  • Overseeing Cashflow forecast
  • Creation and distribution of monthly financial performance reports at a group level and for each individual company within the group
