I am working with a client who is looking to hire a Mechanical QC inspector to their dynamic and ever expanding team based in Aberdeen, with a focus on developing donhole tools and working in the Oil and Gas industry, the Mechanical QC inspector is essentialto the services they provide

If you are looking to join a busy team working within the Mechanica QC inspector team then this may be the opportunity for you, you will be performing dimensional and visual inspection of assemblies/components.

(Will require sound knowledge of Faro Arm devices)


Duties:


  • Dimensionally and visually inspect small machined components and assemblies.
  • Operate Faro Arm and other automated inspection devices.
  • Perform detailed inspections using a variety of instruments and inspection devices.
  • Compile inspection reports and nonconformance reports.
  • Process concession requests and liaise with engineering and purchasing where required.
  • Liaise with relevant departments regarding the processing of inspections.

The role requires:


  • Experienced in performing QC inspection using Faro Arm and other inspection devices.
  • Ability to interpret mechanical engineering drawings.
  • Experience in, and have excellent knowledge of, mechanical component inspection.

The following would be advantageous:


  • Experience in the machining of parts.
