SENIOR CREDIT RISK MANAGER

£70,000

SOUTH-EAST ENGLAND

THE COMPANY
This client is a specialist lender who are continuing to challenge this space.

This role offers an opportunity to join a fast-paced company with direct involvement in a number of projects and significant ownership over your work.

THE ROLE
This role is an opportunity to work across a varied range of projects and areas, including:

  • Developing and validating IFRS9 models for the business
  • Developing forecasting models for the portfolio, covering losses and stress testing
  • Reporting across the credit risk lifecycle, and leading the wider portfolio to drive business performance and conduct analysis as necessary
  • Mentoring and coaching analysts within the team
  • Taking on ownership for the IIFRS9 function and build out the team

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Awareness of IFRS9 and regulatory standards
  • Experience in using SAS or SQL
  • At least five years' experience in credit risk/financial services
  • Educated to a degree level in a numerate discipline
  • Experience in secured lending is ideal
  • Experience in R coding is ideal
