CRM and Insight Lead - 12-month contract

Up to £65,000, excellent benefits, including company car & fuel card.

Part remote (2 days from home and 3 in the office)

We are looking for a CRM and Insight Lead to join a leading automotive manufacturer in Milton Keynes.


Reporting to the Head of Marketing, you will implement a customer focussed CRM Strategy for the Automotive Division, and provide a supporting and guiding role for the wider business divisions.

This is a really exciting, senior management role with a lot of variety and autonomy.

As CRM and Insight Lead, some of your duties will include:

  • Ensure the CRM program and communications to Handraisers, Prospects, Customers and Lapsed is effective and engaging, for all key business areas of Sales, Aftersales, Fleet and Used Cars. This includes welcome, nurture, repurchase and lapsed customer programmesto deliver increased retention.
  • Maintain the accuracy and the commercial value of the CRM database
  • Grow their opted in customer and prospect database.
  • Data Champion supporting the wider Marketing team in driving success through the use of data.
  • Lead a culture of using insight to inform yours and the wider teams' recommendations and proposals, aligned to the business's overall objectives.
  • Support the Head of Marketing in delivering reporting and insight across the Marketing team
  • Oversee and lead the cross divisional development of the CRM infrastructure and platform (Microsoft Dynamics) to support the business commercial goals, to maintain the development of the CRM strategy and technology stack.
  • Work alongside the Brand Communications Team, Digital Team and Aftersales team to be the business lead and expert in CRM and Insight across the business divisions.
  • Demonstrate the ROI for all CRM investment and activities.
  • Forecast, develop, manage and review the annual CRM Operating Expense and Capital Expenditure budget.
  • Support the Head of Marketing with budget tracking and reporting of the Marketing team.
  • Mentor and develop a Marketing Executive who has CRM responsibilities within their role.

Skills and experience:
- knowledge of CRM databases (Dot Digital preferred)

  • Knowledge of KPIs and metrics especially CRM, and how to action insights.
  • Experience of BI tools
  • Experience of project management and business cases
  • Experience of tracking and reporting on large scale budgets
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative ethos and the ability to interact and influence a diverse range of people
