About the role

Ubico are looking to increase its award winning training team by recruiting a trainer to deliver training across multiple sites.

You will be delivering a range of training packages including employee inductions, health & safety related training packages and carry out driver assessments to meet the individual employee learning needs.

Duties within this role include:

Provide support and feedback as appropriate to ensure all learners have the opportunity to achieve their goals.
Update the Ubico Training Matrix ensuring all staff receive up to date and role relevant training.
Support the Training Manager in developing training policies.
Assist the Training Manager arrange and coordinate training courses and apprenticeship schemes.
Attend training courses in order to deliver training to Ubico employees (including use of hotels as required)
Coordinate and deliver training as required (be prepared to travel to other Ubico depots)

You will need

Full LGV CAT C driving licence to be able to drive a range of vehicles up to and including 32 tonnes gross weight.
Be willing to work towards obtaining instructor qualifications related to Ubico's core business.
Deliver training and coaching to a high standard in line with Ubico requirements.
Selfmotivated and be able to demonstrate a learning mindset.
The ability to plan, deliver and monitor cyclical and ad hoc training delivery, making the most effective use of the resources available.
Sound communication skills in dealing with external training providers, operations managers, the Ubico corporate team, employees, the public and other parties affected by the activities of the Section.
Experience of training delivery to individuals and teams.
Experience of people development and training with excellent coaching ability.
Experience of creating and implementing training plans and/or creating a project initiative.

Special conditions

There is a requirement to work at all Ubico locations to meet the needs of the business.
Expected to work reasonable additional hours in line with the needs of the service.
You will need access to a car for work purposes.
