Our client based in Welwyn Garden City are looking for a proactive, adaptable individual to join their team as a Careers Advisor.

• A recognised qualification in Information, Advice and Guidance at Level 4 minimum
• Good IT Skills including Microsoft Office
• Previous experience in a similar role
• Excellent communication skills
• Organised and able to work under pressure
• Good administrative and organisational skills
• DBS check

• Support the careers and personal development team
• To provide 1 to 1 support and guidance to ensure the successful progression of students
• Deliver the Colleges careers strategy
• Communicate with the teams within the college on employability and career assistance.
• Attend and support events such as open events and interview evenings
• Provide strategies to monitoring and assessing the service's efficiency and effects on students.
• Keep track of activities using surveys and action plans.
• Educate and advise students on all aspects of learning and employment prospects.
