Are you a skilled Mechanical Inspector with experience in precision engineering, seeking an exciting opportunity with a reputable company in Nottinghamshire?


EMBS Engineering is proud to be partnered with a globally recognised, market-leading precision engineering and manufacturing business that serves world-renowned industry leaders.

We are currently looking for a highly motivated Mechanical Inspector to join their expanding team and contribute to new and exciting projects.


Responsibilities:


  • Conduct detailed inspections of precision components in accordance with customer and industry specifications to ensure component conformity
  • Utilise manual measuring equipment for both visual and dimensional inspection activities
  • Operate automated inspection tools such as CMM, Keyence, Hommel, etc
  • Perform First off and Final Inspection procedures with precision and accuracy
  • Identify and report nonconforming products, raising NCR (Non-Conformance Report) as required
  • Update and maintain FAIR (First Article Inspection Report) records
  • Interpret engineering drawings proficiently
  • Collaborate effectively with a team of talented engineers
  • Demonstrate a keen eye for detail and maintain a strong focus on quality

Requirements:


  • A strong background in quality inspection, preferably with experience in the Aerospace industry
  • Proficiency in using manual measuring equipment and automated inspection tools (CMM, Keyence, Hommel, etc.)
  • Familiarity with First off and Final Inspection procedures
  • Confident in identifying nonconforming products
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings accurately
  • Knowledge of FAIRs (First Article Inspection Reports)
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team
