Join us as a Software Trainer with Capita

Remote with a potential for 1 or 2 days a quarter in office either in London or Manchester

Once trained in-house these trainees progress to become consultants who are placedon one or more client assignments


The role:

Technologies:

  • Java, Spring, C#, ASP.NET, Web API and SQL Server.
  • Test Automation frameworks: Unit testing, TestNG, Junit, Selenium, NUnit or JMeter
  • Frontend: JavaScript, HTML, CSS, React or Angular, XML, XAML
  • Testing levels: Functional and Non-Functional, TDD and BDD (Blackbox and Whitebox)
  • Tools: Selenium, Microfocus, Microsoft TFS
  • DevOps: Methodologies, CI/CD pipelines
  • Cloud technologies: Azure
  • CI/CD Deployment tools: Puppet, Ansible, Chef, Terraform, Jenkins, Kubernetes, Docker, JIRA, Confluence, Bitbucket, Git and GitHub
  • Software development lifecycles: Waterfall, Agile, Scrum
  • Quality Assurance: Manual and autonomous testing, debugging, defect management, quality attributes
  • Software development and test automation tools: MS Test Nunit, TestingNG, Selenium WebDriver for Functional testing.
  • Testing Methodologies: User Acceptance Testing, Data Driven Testing, Test Driven Development, Behaviour Driven Development, Cucumber, Gherkin, Web Service Testing, SOAP and REST
  • Exposure to Agile software development and DevOps working environment and associated processes


As a trainer, you will design and deliver a range of learning and development (L&D) solutions for our trainees and employees to meet business needs, ensure the effective and efficient delivery of these L&D solutions and co-ordinate administrative and supporttasks for L&D programmes.

You will deliver all forms of training (virtually primarily and occasionally face to face) and carry out training needs analysis, as well as identifying new training areas, and managing risks.
